Belize (United Cup) landed 31-year old naturalized American 206cm forward Jamell Harris (college: EMU) for new season. Harris played most recently at Chernomorets in Bulgarian NBL league, but left the team in Nov.'21. But in only one game he did not score anything and had only 1 rebound.

He is a very experienced player. And here thanks to pro basketball he experienced life in eight different countries playing on four different continents. Harris is familiar with European, Asian, Latin American and of course North American leagues. He has played previously professionally in Canada (Titans), Chile (Valdivia), Colombia (Warriors), Iraq (Al Kahraba), Mexico (Tijuana Zonkeys), Saudi Arabia (Al Wehda), Norway (Froya Basket) and Belize (Hurricanes).

His team made it to the Colombian LPB Semifinals in 2019.
Harris graduated from Eastern Michigan University in 2013 and it will be his tenth season in pro basketball.
